GSP Establishes New Camp Office in Gilgit-Baltistan

The Geological Survey of Pakistan (GSP) has established a new Camp Office in Gilgit-Baltistan, commencing its operations from 27th October 2025. This development, facilitated under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), marks a significant step in enhancing the organization’s national footprint.

The new office expands GSP’s network, which now includes presence in all provincial headquarters, the Islamabad Capital Territory, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, and now Gilgit-Baltistan. This strategic placement will allow for more concentrated geological research and surveys in this critical landmass, contributing to a comprehensive geoscientific database for the region.
