PUBLIC NOTICE

As part of the Government of Pakistan’s efforts to promote the sustainable development and modernization of the gemstone sector in Gilgit-Baltistan, the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) is examining the possibility of undertaking a pilot scientific study for gemstone resource estimation in selected gemstone-bearing areas.
For this purpose, bona fide holders of gemstone Mining Leases, or applicants thereof, willing to allow access to their leased or applied areas and surrounding vicinity for the conduct of such studies, may communicate their willingness to the undersigned through a signed letter, accompanied by a copy of the applicant’s CNIC and a copy of the relevant Mining Lease or lease application document, clearly indicating the location and particulars of the area concerned, within fifteen (15) days of publication of this advertisement.
