TENDER NOTICE

Sealed bids are invited from GST/IT Registered Firms / Authorized Suppliers / Manufacturers for supply and installation of following items for Geological Survey of Pakistan, Geoscience Advance Research Laboratories, Islamabad.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  • Interested parties should submit their sealed cover bids marked on envelope “For Purchase of above mentioned Items” in Pak Rupees inclusive of all taxes (i.e., GST, I.T / WH. Tax, Customs Duty etc) and transportation delivery at the Geoscience Advance Research Laboratories, Geological Survey of Pakistan, Shahzad Town, Islamabad.
  • With-holding tax will be deducted as per Government Rules.
  • 2.5% earnest money in the shape of Draft/Pay order in favour of the, Director General, Geological Survey of Pakistan should accompany the bids.
  • In accordance with the PPRA Rules 2004, the bids should comprise a single package containing two separate envelopes.
  • One envelope shall contain the Financial Proposal and the other will contain Technical Proposal. The envelopes shall be marked as “FINANCIAL PROPOSAL” and “TECHNICAL PROPOSAL” in bold and legible letters to avoid confusion
  • In accordance with the PPRA Rules 2004, initially, only the envelope marked “TEHCNICAL PROPOSAL” shall be opened and the envelope marked as “FINANCIAL PROPOSAL” shall be retained in the custody of the Director General without being opened (as per PPRA Rules)
  • The bids should be unconditionally valid for 120 days and also accompany with copies of valid Income Tax, GST Registration Certificates, should have the certified authority for supply of instruments from manufacturers or Sole Distribution / Dealership / Authorization certificates etc.
  • Conditional payment terms/mode or payment by the bidders for Advance or partial payments will not be entertained.
  • Full payment would be released after successful Installation/ Commissioning/Testing and the equipment’s performance found satisfactory by the Technical Evaluation Committee.
  • The selection would be based on the technical evaluation/assessment of the best package / configuration and therefore would not be constrained for acceptance of necessarily the lowest offer after technical scrutiny by the Competent Authority.

The bids documents/specification can be purchased till 25th November, 2016 upon submitting a written request and payment of tender fee of Rs.1000/- (non-refundable) in the form of call deposit/pay order/demand draft in favour of Director General, GSP. Tender fee in cash is not acceptable. Tender documents can be obtained from the office of undersigned during 0900 hours to 1600 hours on all working days except Saturday, Sunday and other gazetted holidays. The last date of submission of bids is 28th November, 2016 by 1000 hours. Bids will be opened on same day at 1100 hours in the presence of bidders/representatives.

One set of tender documents will be issued for one bid only. More sets of documents will be purchased for alternate/multiple bids. Competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning any reason.
